[Games] Three online games for Friday

Swoop-to-Nuts (link)
Collect acorns to keep yourself alive, grab the stars high in the sky to score big points. This game has rather strange controls: move your mouse to the right to let the squirrel dive (to gain speed) and move it to the left to gain heigth (but lose speed).


Ball Revamped 4 (link)
Make your way through obstacles and powerups as you try to guide your ball to the level exit. That sounds easy, but after level 54 it gets really hard.


Tower Defence (link)
Defend your castle against evil "monsters" by building towers that shoot ice, fire and nature beams. The monsters become stronger every time they attack.

[Internet] Kongregate.com is web gaming 2.0

Kongregate is a Web2.0 online gaming site. Unlike your average run-of-the-mill game site, this site tries to connect developers and gamers.

You can rate games, you can leave comments, submit bugs and in the near future, their users will decide what's on the home page (similar to the Digg6472 system).

They're still in private alpha, but I have three invites for those of you who want one. Just send an e-mail to konginvi.20.pdedecker@spamgourmet.com. Don't let this weird mail address scare you though; this is a valid e-mail address but allows me to avoid spam. But that's a story for another time.
